1. The east and west ends of Main Street (see attached map) will be free to all users from Monday thru Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Visitors, tourists and residents will need to pay to park in these areas (see map) on Monday thru Friday after 6:00 p.m. and on weekends.
  2. All users pay in the heavy demand central core.
  3. One rate of $1.50 will be used in all locations where there is required paid parking.
  4. Parking time is now unlimited.
  5. Employees will have the option of parking for free in the east and west ends of Main Street (see map) during the week from Monday thru Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. After 6:00 p.m. during the week and on weekends employees will need to purchase an employee pass that has been reduced to $45 for 3 months. Employees are not able to park in the heavy demand central core area (see map) that has paid parking.
  6. Residents wishing to opt out of the Residential Permit Program can show the City that a majority 51% of the residents on a block by block basis do not wish to participate in the Residential Permit Program.
  7. The city through its parking management company will have the ability to use an attendant at 500 Wood Street and the Marina for larger special events at a $5 flat fee thus bypassing the pay station kiosk as means to be more efficient and reduce waiting time for the user.
  8. Dunedin Station Square (Douglas Avenue/Scotland Street) will remain free.
  9. Fees from paid parking will ensure and fund adequate public parking for generations to come.
  10. Disabled parking permit holders are exempt from any time limits and may park in any paid parking space in downtown. The permit must be present.
